Femininity

DANZANDO LA DEA

I incarnate the Goddess when there is silence.
I incarnate the Goddess when i sing the love for everything that i’m not aware of, but whose void i feel.
I incarnate the Goddess when i create life by transforming colours, words and ideas with my own hands.
I incarnate the Goddess when I let my emotions overwhelm me, when the sea moves them in my bowels.
I incarnate the Goddess when i smile as i observe my footprints growing roots in the depths of the Earth.
I incarnate the Goddess when i struggle to explore myself and give light to my shadows.
I incarnate the Goddess when I recognize myself as a woman.

A Sacred Circular Space for Women

Even though I have always had the urge to connect myself with other friends-sisters and have dedicated myself into re-finding the feminine within me for some years now, I have to admit that having deep and sincere relations was not always simple.
In the past I felt I was in competition with my female peers, especially when a man was around or when I had to figure out who was more fertile: not only on a physical level, but also concerning social status, academic titles, work etc.
Through the experience of researching women’s groups, I’ve tasted the connection between having a sincere relation with other Women and having a deep relation with my femininity, with my body, with me being a Goddess.
The more I approach my sisters, the closer i get to my femininity.
The first step was to accept that i have a mother: making her  feel as a Mother and myself as a Daughter was a very significant passage. By understanding that I was all of a sudden brought to the world of Goddesses in which I share, research and experience in order to make the thread that binds me with the Essence of Woman more endurable.
Bringing harmony to relationships with women, we bring love in the relationship with our female part. Working on ourselves, we transform and bring harmony ito the long-lasting conflict between male and female genders, started millenniums ago, since the beginning of patriarchy.

“The woman whom I wanted to call My Mother, was silenced before I was even born”
A. Rich

When we reach the menarche, Nature itself hands us a key to open the door of knowledge which has neither time nor space. It is our task (with the help of our mothers, sisters and guides) to recognize, to understand and to apply these instruments in our everyday life in order to live in harmony. Instruments that are to be used for a woman’s entire life.
Once we open the door of this knowledge, will follow us in all the phases of our existence: adolescence, youth, maturity and old age.

EnciclopeDea

Ayurveda and menstrual moon
Study of our menstrual cycle through Triguna. Triguna literally means three different qualities. Like the physical body, the psychic body (mind) has its own foundation and according to ayurveda together these three qualities form the mind. Sattva, Rajas and Tamas: purity, dynamism and inertia. Through our own knowledge of the intellect and through making a specific movement, we can channel and balance the energy created in the different phases of the moon within.

Dancing the 7 veils
Various cultures tell us the story of a Goddess (of Love or of the Harvest: Ishtar, Inanna, Isis) who travels to the underworld to seek her beloved. During her absence the Earth is no longer fertile and there is no Love nor celebrations. During her journey, the Goddess goes through 7 gates; every gate represents a veil: a mask.
To removing the veils symbolizes non-attachment to the facets of the personality that don’t help us evolve.

Dancing Your Support
God has a special interest in women for they can lift the world to their breast and help Him comfort ~ MIRABAI
By being women we know who is telling the truth; as women we have an innate need and desire to give, to support. It happens often that we don't know how to ask for or receive support when it is offered, while on the other hand we give too much to others and feel drained. Through generating power, building connections and experiencing how to give, but also to receive support, we can find new ways of acting in everyday life.

The night of the fullmoon, especially a few hours before its climax, is an excellent/optimum time to pay homage to the Divine Femmininity, to the Great Mother, to Shakti. In the Indian Tantric tradition, the resonance between the Full Moon and the female energy associated with it, is attributed to the Maha Vidya Tripura Sundari (the Goddess of Beauty of the three worlds: the physical, the astral and the causal).

Ritual to Shiva - Maha Shivaratri
Shivaratri is a ritual dedicated to Shiva (our direction) and held every month on the night before the New Moon. On this night the moon, which rules the mind, has 1/16 of its brightness and is almost completely black. The moment of the New Moon can therefore be associated with that state of mind in which its fluctuations and whims are much reduced and through spiritual discipline[they] can be easily controlled. On this night there remains only a small part to be controlled in order to understand and know our Self. Maha (Great) Shivaratri falls once a year in the transition between winter and spring.

The Goddesses who have already danced share their thoughts:

“Dancing Goddess is an experience hard to describe, you mus live it to comprehend it. It reached the very depths of me and i rediscovered my creative energy and power. Through the sharing of ourselves with other Goddesses we were given the possibility to get to know ourselves, our power but also our fragility, our limits and our anxieties. All this in a magic space, inside a womb that surrounded, protected and nourished us and created new energy and new life.”
Elda Munari

“I have participated in Nadeshwari's seminar and I’ve been impressed by the deep changes to our ways of thinking that can be brought about by a single course; the ways of thinking we have grown up with and followed throughout our lives. Thanks to the dancing and guided meditations, but also the other exercises of self expression, I have found my interior peace. I’ve always been trying to control everything in my life and have always been afraid of losing me..of loosing control of my own self and my own emotions. When I asked Nadeshwari what I could do, she answered in a very simple and easy way: “Accept where you are and ...that’s fine”. Hearing that I'm allowed to be myself, right now, that i don’t have to keep on trying for a change, I bursted into tears. The following day I wrote on the mirror in my bathroom: “Accept yourself exactly the way you are right now”, so I can read it often. So far this mantra has been right for me. I hope that Nadeshwari will continue sharing her passion in helping women rediscover how to be a woman. Once again, Thank You!!”
Roanna Weiss

“Another precious step has been imprinted on my way. The syntonicity and harmony I experienced these two days, created around me a sphere of peace around. Rediscovering the Goddess in me made me feel a part of the web of Goddesses.”
Laura Gattanella

"Finding out or even better being conscious of our femininity and making it sacred...everything is sacred. Thank you for this experience that marked me for the rest of my life. Thank You!!”
Sara Antognoni

“A beautiful experience with women re-searching their real beauty. Fascinating atmosphere created by bodies, movements and harmony. One more step on the approach to the sensual part which is in me! Thank You!”
Francesca Mariangeli

“Going deep inside until we reach the void which is nothing and everything. Being able to listen bravely to what it needs to tell us with bravery. Contacting the feminine space and remembering that is sacred.”
Veronica Zacchilli

“The healing of the body,of the soul and of the mind that we brought to each other, is the present each Goddess to the other Goddesses.”
Serena Veschi

“Thank You for this knowledge and experience. Mind, body, soul and spirit..What I’ve tried and felt.. Heart, warmth, power, life! A tight hug”

Dancing tales from a Goddesses:

And the woman screamed: it was a mix of pain and fear.

She couldn't catch her breath, she was sweating, she was waiting for the following pang.

And there it came. And the woman screamed.

Another woman came along. She was old, with a vivid eye and experienced hands, and she asked her: “What's happening, woman?”

And she replied, shaking and wheezing: “I don't know, grandma, I feel sick, my belly is swollen, I feel pangs, I feel bad, I'm scared, I don't know.”

To this the old woman replied:” But didn't you notice? You're pregnant and about to give birth”!

The woman looked at the aged lady and she begged her: “What am I going to do? No-one ever explained it to me.. How can I make it? I have never done it.. I'm not able to.. How can I make it?”

The old woman smiled, she looked down at her and she said: “Don't be afraid: your body knows exactly how to do it. You could perfectly make it on your own, but you have been lucky to meet me, because I am a midwife”

The woman, relieved, started thanking the midwife, thanking God, thanking her fortune, her fate....and dragged by this enthusiasm she was almost forgetting the creature that she was about to deliver! But the baby was ready to exit, causing more and more intense and frequent contractions in the woman's womb.. it wanted to exit so badly!

The woman overwhelmed by this dreadful pain panicked again, and asked the midwife: “I don't know what to do! What do I have to do? Tell me what to do! Teach me!Help me!”

The old midwife smiled once again, and said to her: “My dear, first of all relax and breathe...That's right, you're doing it properly...now listen to your body: Your pelvis is the bed of a river, and its water knows exactly in which direction to flow and how to find its way to the sea! Your body has the proper strenght to push and to keep on as long as it is necessary. You are born for this!”

The old midwife kneeled in front of the woman and with the strenght of her wise hands, her powerful balms and her ancient songs, helped the woman to breathe and to push.

The sun was rising when the woman felt that something was coming out from her body, and the midwife saw a head coming out. She took the newborn in her hands to accompany it into the world. She then dried and wrapped it in a cloth, blessed it and put a drop of a secret unction on its forehead. In the end she handed it over to the trembling mother.

The mother looked at her: it was a girl.. perfect.. with a serious and mysterious expression. Her face looked exactly like her mother's  when she was a child. The woman burst into tears, with an immeasurable joy and melancholy in her chest. She raised her eyes up to the old lady, grateful and thankful, but she wasn't there anymore, and in her place stood a statue of a Goddess, which had the face of the midwife.

The woman, fascinated, looked at the statue and particularly at its face and she realized for the first time that it was her own face, marked by time and wisdom. From that day on, the three women – the mother, the child/newborn, the Goddess – never parted again, and lived in happiness and in power ever after!”
